Calvin the Puzzler

Occupation: PKMN Poacher
Calvin is a pokemon poacher and he uses puzzles during his pokemon captures. So when some goody-two shoer wants to stop him they have to solve a puzzle to get the pokemon out. 

Personality: He's a wise-crack and jokes around buyers (especially the police). He is also ruthless with his pokemon poaching and catches as many as he can to sell in the black market. To certain people in the market, he may let the buyrers solve the puzzle cages (seen in krokorok's hand). Calvin doesn't let all of them do it, he need these cages to capture and not let any simpleton use it. He relishes at the sight of no-one being able to surpass his "puzzle genius" and laughs loudly, his vocie echoing throughout the marketplace. Just one laugh from him and the whole marketplace knows it Calvin at it again. 

Not all the pokemon he poaches is sold. The krokorok he claimed for his new starter pokemon was able to unlock a puzzle cage. Calvin happily accepted it on his team specially designed for poaching.

Tools of the Trade 

Shotgun: a traditonal looking shotgun, simple in design, used to hunt deerling, swasbuck, and stantler. This gun is used to lure pokemon put of hiding and scaring larger pokemon. The bullets are all tranquilizers used to capture large/heavy pokemon. He doesnt want to kill them only capture them. 

Pistols ebony &ivory: The pistols bullets have paralyzing effects making pokemon unable to move and disable pokemon's moves. One pistol disables while the other paralyzes, or he uses a combo. Depending on the situatioin/pokemon there are other bullets for status effects.

Knife rebellion...ok i'll stop lol!: Used only is dire curcumstances. Poaching ain't easy and some pokemon just dont wannt be caught. So stabbing them with knife might do the trick. Luckily for Calvin this only happened once.

Puzzle Cube (Cages) cuz i dont have an elaborate name lol. : These cube shaped cages act like pokeballs and disbale the pokemon's moves. The cubes are a blue-gray color and change its color to the pokemon's type. Mulitple types result in a multi-colored cube. The cube also generates a symbol for each type for easy recognization (cuz there will be people who wont recognize by pure color alone). It doesnt tell what pokemon is in it, that is the poketch's job. The data for making the cages was a hacking of the pokeball system. 

The puzzles used in the cages changes and uses touch capabilites to solve. It is inspired by deoxys's ability to change shape at will. The markings on it do so as well. Once solved it is disabled completely and can only be reactivated through the use of Calvin's poketch with it he can moniter all cages.

Poketch: A hacked poketch from that dumpy company in Sinnoh. Calvin talked with the family owned buisness and gained insight to the pokemon watch. He took one and took it apart for his poaching buisness. He also has numerous other devices trainers use and turned them into poaching devices. This one he currently uses for the use of adding personalized apps and it isn't connected to towers like the Hoenn and Johto device.

Vehicle Calvin rides in a open top humvee. Whether he owns it or stole it is unknown. This all terrain vehicle is perfect for dirt roads and plowing through grasslands. The puzzle cubes are placed in a box and when they are used, they are stacked in the back. People who want to free them play a little puzzle game.

Male
Krokorok the Mischievous. Likes to scatter things. 
Calvin was trying to poach but he kept "breaking" solving all his puzzle cages. This pokemon was able to pick some up and sovle it! Calvin was astonished at how a pokemon solved it without the use of a possable thumb or fingers for that matter. It was at that moment he needed that pokemon on his team for a couple reasons. 1.its totes cool like him. 2. he can't let that thing run loose in the market for fear of solving other puzzle cages. His name is Rubix.

Moves: Crunch, Foul Play, Sludge Bomb. Grass Knot

he's the tank.

Female.
Beedrill the Rash. Proud of its power.
Calvin met this beedrill while scavaging in Virdian Forest. He noticed this beedrill was very abravisive during battle and quick too. It controlled all the other weedle and kakuna with one swift jab of its pointy thing. Capturing this pokemon became very helpful for poaching the pokemon in the forest. Her name is Queen.

She's the balanced attacker.

Moves: Toxic Spikes, Venoshock, Sunny Day, Solarbeam

Gardevoir the Docile. Strong Willed.
Calvin met Riven the Gardevoir when she was a ralts. She is very loyal to Calvin that she is willing to give her eggs to help him. Riven is breed with Gaius the Gallade.

She is the buff/debuffer

Moves: Heal pulse, light screen, psychic, reflect

Male
Cyndaquil the brave. Proud of its power.
This cyndaquil was hatched from an egg that was breed with an arcanine. This hyper pokemon was poached from a breeder. Calvin let cyndaquil join his team after seeing what kind of moves it unleashed. Since he was recently hatched he stil needs to control his strong fire type moves. His name is Rush.

He's the secret weapon.

Moves- tackle, leer, flame burts, flare blitz

Riolu the Adamant. Likes to fight.
Riolu willing joined Calvin's team from a trainer that couldnt train it to its potential.
He was given a new nickname after joining, Alexander.

He's the fast attacker.

Moves: force palm, counter, endure, copycat.
